Previously, the articles below collectively formed the Agricultural Finance Databook. Going forward, these articles will be posted separately as data for each section become available in order to provide more timely updates on agricultural finance. The Agricultural Finance Databook will be discontinued.
Despite a range of policy actions to support farmers, farm income and agricultural credit conditions remained weak in the second quarter alongside disruptions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The information currently reported in sections A, B and C of the Agricultural Finance Databook will be reported in a disaggregated form beginning with the release of data for Q3 Commercial Bank Call Report, Q3 Federal Reserve Surveys of Ag Credit Conditions and Q4 Survey of Terms of Lending to Farmers. Data from each of the three sources will be available with each corresponding release and select variables from each of the sections (A, B and C) of the Agricultural Finance Databook will be discontinued. The current Tables and Historical Data will be discontinued and archived.
