Key Activities Include:

  • Complete assigned core duties including, but not limited to, collecting, analyzing, and transmitting monetary policy, regulatory requirement and structure data. 
  • Respond to inquiries regarding regulatory implications and contacting institutions to resolve problem situations including, but not limited to, analyzing and reporting discrepancies.
  • Analyze financial and structure reports, trend and process improvement analyses, etc. Participating in department, division or District assignments.
  • Attain proficiency in basic institutional supervisory/regulatory processes and applications.  Completing select System developed courses and/or on-the-job training to deepen and broaden functional knowledge.  Understanding the financial conditions of different types of institutions and how the condition relates to departmental responsibilities. 

Required Education and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or closely related field or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree or comparable advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, financial, analytical, problem solving, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative, creativity, organizational and customer services skills. Enjoys working in a team atmosphere.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, Internet, e-mail and applicable business line applications.

Position Specific Requirements

  • This position requires access to confidential supervisory information, access to which is limited to "Protected Individuals" as defined in the U.S. immigration law. Protected Individuals include, but are not limited to, U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and U.S. permanent residents who are not yet eligible to apply for naturalization and U.S. permanent residents who have applied for naturalization within six months of being eligible to do so.
  • Bank employees may not own or control, directly or indirectly, any debt or equity interest in a depository institution and, in certain assignments, in a primary dealer of government securities. A "depository institution" means a bank, a trust company, or any institution that accepts deposits, including a bank chartered under the laws of a foreign country. This restriction also applies to an employee's spouse or minor child. Prospective hires will be required to abide by this restriction and may be asked to divest of their financial holdings as a condition of employment.
