Denise Connor is senior vice president in charge of the Payment Director project for the Federal Reserve System's Retail Products Office. She is also a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City's Management Committee, which is responsible for strategic planning and policy direction.

Ms. Connor joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 1987 and was promoted to assistant vice president in 1998. In 2000, she was named vice president of the Central Check User Support Department. She transferred to the Check Automation Services Department in 2005 and led the Federal Reserve System's efforts to analyze options to modernize the Check 21 processing platform. She holds an MBA in finance, a Bachelor of Journalism, and an Associate Bachelor of Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
