Step into the shoes of a bank examiner, try to spot a counterfeit bill and see what $40 million in cash really looks like.
The Money Museum at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City includes several interactive exhibits designed to explain banking, the economy and how the Fed works.
In addition, a special Legacy Exhibit traces the history of the Federal Reserve System and the Kansas City Fed from the beginning to today. A number of artifacts, including a rare Thompson machine gun once used by Bank guards, are available for viewing.
