Self-Guided Tours
The Money Museum is available for walk-in visitors and self-guided tours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Monday through Friday, excluding Bank holidays. All guests who are 18 years of age or older are
required to present a valid photo ID.
For United States citizens, the photo ID must be issued by
the United States federal or state government (for example, a passport or driver's license). For our
international guests, a valid international government issued passport must be presented. There is no
admission charge and reservations are not necessary.
Guided Tours
Guided tours are available for 5th grade-level groups and above, including students, educators, bankers, community organizations and the general public.
Guided tours are free of charge, but reservations are required. To schedule a guided tour, a workshop or a presentation, use our tour registration page.
- Available days: Monday through Friday, excluding Bank holidays
- Available tour times: 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
- Tour length: 1 hour
- Group size requirements: 5 to 40 individuals per tour group (smaller groups may be added to a larger existing group)
- Reservations: Required two weeks in advance by completing an online request form or calling (303) 572-2300
- Preparation: A list of all tour guests (including first and last name) who are 18 or older must be submitted at least one week prior to your confirmed tour date. This list can be submitted via email to denvertours@kc.frb.org or phone by calling (303) 572-2300.

What to Expect When You Arrive
Security
All guests who are 18 years of age or older are required to present a valid photo ID. For United States citizens, the photo ID must be issued by the United States federal or state government (for example, a passport or driver's license). For our international guests, a valid international government issued passport must be presented. Guests will undergo security screening upon arrival. Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your tour start time to allow for the screening process. Firearms, explosives, hazardous materials, lethal weapons, illegal drugs, and any other dangerous items, including pocket knives, are prohibited on Bank premises. Metal detectors and x-ray equipment are used to enforce this policy. Any person entering and any purse, briefcase, or other items brought on the premises are subject to being scanned and/or physically inspected. For security reasons, guests are prohibited from taking photographs of security equipment, personnel or Cash operations.Arriving at the Museum
The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City - Denver Branch is at 1020 16th Street, located in downtown Denver. Public parking is available near the Branch.- Parking is not offered for those visiting the Money Museum. A loading and unloading zone is available on Curtis Street between 15th and 16th Streets near the main entrance.
- All guests must enter and exit through the Federal Reserve Bank's entrance on Curtis Street between 15th and 16th Streets.
- All guests must inform the protection officer stationed at the entrance of their organization's name, the number of individuals in their party and their reason for entering the Branch (e.g. guided tour or self-guided tour of lobby exhibits).
- All guests must go through the metal detectors as soon as they enter the building and should be prepared to provide a government issued photo ID upon request, which is required for guests 18 and older.
- Restrooms and a drinking fountain are located in the Branch.
- Photography of security features and protection officers is not allowed.
