Tour Features
Your guided tour of the Kansas City Fed will start in our lobby with an introduction to the Bank and the Truman coin collection, on loan from the Truman Presidential Library and Museum. A summary of Kansas City Fed history and associated artifacts will also be provided.

The exhibit area enables guests to explore and learn in an interactive way and includes a close-up view into the region’s largest cash vault, a place to “redesign” the nation’s currency and an opportunity to test your strength by lifting a $400,000 gold bar.

Student groups from 5th through 12th grades can also utilize pre-, during- and post-lesson plans developed to help further engage students and provide instructional aid to teachers during their visit.
