Conference registrations are due to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City by October 16, 2009. You may complete registrations online, by mail, or by fax. Conference space is limited, so early registration is recommended.

 

Registration is available online. The registration fee for the conference is $45 per guest and should be paid in advance. Acceptable payment methods include check/money order, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) and purchase orders.

Check/money orders and purchase orders should be made to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Refunds will be made if cancellation is received prior to October 16, 2009.

 

The Financial Education in Oklahoma Conference brings together financial education service providers and stakeholders to learn about programs offered in the state, share experiences, and identify new strategies and resources to support your financial education efforts. This year's conference will explore innovative policies, programs and delivery methods that can expand and support financial education in Oklahoma during these challenging economic times.

Speakers and trainers from national and local organizations will discuss:
  • Innovative approaches for promoting financial empowerment among diverse clients,
  • Program designs and practices that you can incorporate into your work,
  • Unique perspectives on policies, issues and trends in financial education and how they affect your community,
  • Tools for implementation of the Oklahoma Passport to Financial Literacy, and
  • Opportunities for engaging new partners in efforts to expand financial education to all Oklahomans.
The conference will include presentations, panels, and participatory training on topics of interest to organizations serving clients of all ages.
