Conference registrations are due to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City by October 20, 2004. You may complete registrations online, by mail, or by fax. Conference space is limited, so early registration is recommended.
Conference participants will need to select their first and second preferences among four concurrent sessions to attend:
  • Financial Education in the Schools: Tools and Strategies for Reaching Youth in the Classroom
  • Adult Financial Education: Delivering Programs to Meet Diverse Needs
  • Financial Institutions on the Frontlines: Strengthening Relationships through Financial Education
  • Financial Institutions in Community Building: Lessons from Community-based Organizations

 

Registration for the conference is $35 per guest and should be paid in advance. Acceptable payment methods include check/money order or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express). Make check/money orders payable to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Refunds will be made if cancellation is received prior to October 20th, 2004.

 

The Financial Education in Oklahoma conference will provide an opportunity for local financial education service providers and stakeholders to gain an understanding of programs currently being offered in the state, share experiences, and learn about new strategies and resources to support their efforts.
Speakers from national and local organizations will discuss:
  • Perspecitves on issues and trends in financial education and how they affect your community,
  • Model programs such as the America Saves Campaign and Chicago Money Smart Week, and what makes them work, and
  • Oklahoma-based programs and resources to assist you in your local efforts.
