First time users
The Bank Director Portal links bank directors to information resources. To facilitate access, links are group into board categories: data resources, publications, online training, events, and banking agencies. The following briefly describes the information included under each category.
- Data resources includes links to online financial data for banks and bank holding companies
- Publications links to examination manuals, regulations and supervisory letters issued by the Federal Reserve System, written director training materials, speeches by members of the Board of Governors, and other general information.
- Online training links to training materials used by Federal Reserve System examiners (StArt) and the System's online directors course, Insights for Bank Directors.
- Events provides a calendar of Federal Reserve System and Federal Reserve Bank sponsored events that may be of interest to bank directors.
- Banking agencies links to the Web sites of state and federal banking agencies.
Each category may be accessed by mouse clicking on the navigation bar right above the pictured board room or by mouse clicking on items shown in the board room that lights up when the mouse cursor passes over them. A mouse click will cause a drop-down menu of available links to appear. Mouse click the item you want. For a brief
description of the items included in the drop down list, mouse click the category title, e.g, mouse click on "Online Training" to obtain a summary description of information accessed by the StArt and Insights for Bank Director links. To exit the summary descriptions, mouse click Home on the navigation bar.
