Tours
Free guided tours of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City's Denver Branch office are available to student groups (high school and above), business and civic groups, and the general public. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to experience our nation's central bank. On your tour you will learn about the Federal Reserve's three main functions, as well as find out about the processing of currency and other payments. Information about what to expect at each location and tour guidelines is available.

The Denver Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City offers group tours Tuesday through Thursday at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Tours are approximately 30-45 minutes in duration and require three-week advance reservations. A maximum of 15 visitors can be accommodated per tour.
Please note: Due to construction at the Branch, tours will only be available until April 1, 2010. Tours will resume January 2011.

What to Expect When You Arrive |

Entrance
The public entrance is located on Curtis Street between 15th Street and the 16th Street Mall. Metered street parking is available in the downtown area. Public parking is also available in nearby commercial parking lots.

Security
All adult visitors 18 years and older must present some form of government issued photo identification (driver's license, passport, etc.) before entrance to the Fed will be allowed. Because of security procedures, hand-carried items (briefcases, back packs, purses, etc.) will be x-rayed and inspected by security staff, and all visitors will pass through a metal detector. Also, weapons, cameras and camcorders are not allowed on Branch premises. If you have a cell phone with camera capabilities, please keep it in your pocket/bag during the tour.

Directions to the Bank...
The Denver Branch occupies the entire city block bordered by Curtis Street,
15th Street, Arapahoe Street and the 16th Street Mall. The public entrance
is located on Curtis Street between 15th Street and the 16th Street Mall.
Following are driving directions from the major thoroughfares.

I-25 Northbound
Take the Auraria Parkway exit, turn right on 14th Street, and then turn
left on Curtis Street to 16th Street.

I-25 Southbound
Take the 20th Street exit into downtown, past Coors Field. Turn right on
Arapahoe Street to 16th Street.

I-70 Westbound
Take the Brighton Boulevard exit and proceed south (left). Brighton
Boulevard becomes Broadway just past the Coors Field parking lots; turn
right on Arapahoe Street to 16th Street.

I-70 Eastbound
Take the southbound I-25 exit and immediately get in the right lane.
Merge onto Park Avenue and continue south to Arapahoe Street. Turn right
on Arapahoe Street to 16th Street.
